ASMAR Shipyards, from Chile, was part of the sixth edition of the International Fair of Shipping Services, held in the country, with the intention of presenting its entire portfolio of products, which highlighted their PUMAR military and heavy-duty boats.

“Our intention is to participate in all waterway development projects. We believe it is a good opportunity to present our products that are specially designed for Latin American realities, in the requirement of technical boats and other products such as heavy duty and professional work sector to take people to different points of the river, as well as ambulance-type boats, among others,” said Marcello Roncagliolo, Sales Manager of ASMAR.

He pointed out that one of the products that intends to increase their participation in the country, taking into account that the Paraguayan Navy already use them, are PUMAR military and heavy-duty boats. “The boats that we manufacture are built under military standards that offer great resistance, and countries like Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and others use our units. In addition, compared to other makers, we are present in the region and offer the support in all senses to our customers,” he said.

He added that the units they manufacture have a durability of at least 15 years, bearing in mind that they are manufactured by hand, using fabrics from CSM Hypalon, with intercommunicable watertight compartments and overpressure valves, guaranteeing their resistance under very hostile situations.

They can be contacted through the website: www.asmar.cl and ASMAR’s network of commercial agents.
