Merchant ships repair projects

In the area of ​​merchant ships repair, during September, two projects stood out. AHTS “Skandi Patagonia”, belonging to the Norwegian Shipping Company, DOF SUBSEA REDERI AS C/O DOF MANAGEMENT AS. The Ship of 93.30 meters of length, 19.70 meters of beam and 4.641 tons, arrived at the Shipyard on August 30 to carry out the repair and replacement of the propeller, works that will end on October 8. The work carried out by the Naval Machinery Workshop stands out by fulfilling the client’s requests in record time.

Tanker “Andes”, belonging to the Greek shipping company Tsakos Columbia Shipmanagement. Works included the replacement of steel plates in the ballast tanks, the repair of pipes in the engine room and main deck, maintenance to electric motors, repair of valves, maintenance of winches, hydraulic tests to main load lines, careening and painting, among others.

The vessel of 228.54 meters of length, 32.23 meters of beam and 68.439 tons was docked in Dry Dock No. 2, from September 2 to 23.
